Safeguarding Our Legacy, Securing Our Future.
Championing Environmental Sustainability, Climate Resilience, and a Green Economy for Africa.

Introduction
Africa's unparalleled natural capital—its vast forests, biodiversity-rich landscapes, and freshwater resources—is the bedrock of its economies and communities. Yet, it is disproportionately vulnerable to climate change and environmental degradation. The African Union Development Project (AUDP) positions environmental stewardship at the heart of all development. We finance large-scale projects that protect and restore ecosystems, build resilience to climate shocks, and catalyze a transition to a low-carbon, circular economy, ensuring that Africa's growth is both prosperous and sustainable for generations to come.
